Jane Barnett Webb

Jane Barnett Webb, age 93, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. She was born on June 22nd, 1930 to the late Rufus Oliver Barnett and Eunice Lorene Maddox Barnett. She was a member of Leoma Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her loving family. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend, who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Captain James D. Webb Sr.; daughter, Deborah Jane; siblings, Ralph Barnett, Nell Vickers, Ken Barnett, and Jean Augustin; several friends and extended family.

She is survived by her son, James D. Webb Jr. (Christine); many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Brother David Simmerman will be officiating.

Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Public Library.
