Daisey Ann Cathey, age 69, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a member of the Church of Christ faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, gardening, fishing, and cooking. She worked at Murray Ohio for 32 years and would later become a caregiver for those in need. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Cathey; parents, Otis Simpson and Georgia Ruth Douglas.
She is survived by her children, Angela Gilbert and Allen Douglas (Cassie); brothers, Harry Douglas and Charles Douglas; sisters, Betty McHenry and Sandra Douglas; grandchildren, Justus Douglas, Taylor Gilbert, Jackson Douglas, Jayna Douglas, and Matias Douglas; special friends, Bobby Kendrick Sr. and Dorthia Douglas.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Monday, May 6th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Kevin Cross will be officiating.
