Bonnie Garland

Bonnie Ree Stephens Garland was born April 17, 1932, in Perry Co., TN and departed this life on May 21, 2021. She was a member of County Line Primitive Baptist Church in Lawrence Co., TN. She spent her life as a Caregiver, Mother, Friend, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She worked at Murray-Ohio, Forest Hills, and Kay Windsor.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice Nelson and husband Larry of Collinwood, TN; 3 sons, Jerry Garland and wife Deb, Johnny Garland and wife Danette, Dan Garland and wife Michelle, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; 2 sisters Annie Westbrooks of Lawrenceburg, TN and Lorene Miller of Friendship, TN.

She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren: Trevor Nelson and wife Mandy with children Ethan, Elijah, Ehrin and Evan; Kodi Daniels and husband Cory with children Zant and Zali; Crystal Shrader and husband Chris with children Addy and Jansen; Jeremy Garland and wife Tina with children Rylee and Jase; Josh Garland and wife Thristen with children Jaden, Izzy, and Evie; Johnathan Garland and wife Kira with children Camy, Axl, Dezl, and Zola; Trey Garland with children Kaysen and Karson; and Trent Garland.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Paul Edward Garland and Parents Serena McDonald Stephens and John Anderson Stephens; 3 Brothers, Wilson, Willie, and Bill Stephens; 2 Sisters, Addie Lou Emerline and Lillie Davis Moore.

Pallbearers are Grandsons and Honorary Pallbearers will be Great Grandsons.

Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral chapel on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral chapel on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Elder David Williams and Elder David Parr officiating.

Interment will be at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.
