Wayne was born on October 22,1944 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Mamoru and Shigeko Tsuda. He married Nadine Shimazu on September 1, 1963.
After graduating from McKinley High School in 1962, he worked as a heavy machinery mechanic at Todoki Machine and Repair Works. He subsequently worked as a transportation director at the Pearl Harbor Naval Supply Center for 37 years, before retiring in 2013.
In his youth, Wayne enjoyed racing cars, camping, spear fishing, traveling, golfing and coaching youth soccer. In retirement, he spent his time fishing, cooking, watching sports, playing fantasy football with his grandchildren, and relaxing with family.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Nadine, four children, Ladd (Sophie), Gavin (Cheryl), Cory (Zan), and Shawn (Heidi), grandchildren Aaron, Charisse, Kristi, Matthew, Cody, Shawna, Shanynn, Suzie, Kenji, Riki, and Liam, and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alex, Nobu, and Lucy.
A private funeral service will be held at Palm Mortuary & Cemetery on Saturday, April 3rd. A memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii will be at a time and location TBD.
