Thomas Edward Winslow

Thomas Edward Winslow, 78, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020. Thomas was born November 7, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. He was loved and adored by three older siblings—Lewis, Patsy, and Donna. Thomas graduated with a degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Illinois in 1969. He met Linda, the love of his life, while studying there. Thomas and Linda were married January 28, 1968. Thomas honorably served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Once leaving the military, Thomas worked in food service for Continental Airlines and a major restaurant/airline food distributer. Thomas was a natural entertainer. He loved to host gatherings and cook for his family and friends. He was a gifted conversationalist who was always joking and laughing with friends, family, and even strangers. Thomas was a devoted father to his two sons, Bradon and Greg. Thomas will also be remembered by his seven grandchildren who will miss the kindness and laughter of their beloved Papa.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada 89130. A committal service will occur Friday, October 10, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. An entombment will occur Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A reception will occur Friday, October 9, 2020 at 12:00 PM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131.
