Thomas Francis Powers, 83, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He was born Nov. 28, 1927, in Chicago. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired editor for an engineering firm. Thomas is survived by his wife, MaryAnne Powers. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway in Henderson. Donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
