Thomas - Drake Reyes Mendiola

Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm Wednesday, September 13, at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89123).

Funeral services will follow immediately with Fr. Edmund Nnadozie, MSP, Pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Community, officiating.

Thomas was born in Tamuning, Guam to Thomas Franklin Duenas Mendiola and Bernadette Rose Reyes Mendiola on February 18, 1989. He graduated from Father Duenas Memorial School (Class of 2007).

Thomas was a big sports fanatic. He was a diehard Raiders fan, and loved the LA Dodgers and Golden State Warriors. He also enjoyed cars and attending SEMA shows, but above all, his favorite way to spend his time was with his niece, Tasi, and his godson, Tano-Michael.

In his new life, Thomas will be reunited with his father, Thomas, and brothers, Michael Mathew and Philip Gerard. He is survived by his mother, Bernadette Mendiola, brother, Sean Edward Reyes Mendiola, sister-in-law, Shannon Mendiola, niece, Tasi Angelica Mendiola, and godson, Tano-Michael Matua Mendiola, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Thomas’ family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone who has reached out to offer comfort and share their memories of Thomas.
