On December 8th, 2022, Stephen George Trupp passed away at the age of 81 in Las Vegas, NV.
Steve was born on November 20, 1941, in Rexburg, Idaho to Fred and Margaret Trupp. He spent his childhood working on the family dairy farm in St. Anthony, Idaho, learning to drive a tractor by the age of 9, and a truck by 11.
He graduated from South Fremont High School and, upon graduation, attended Idaho State University where he obtained a degree in electronics.
He moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1963, and began a 42 year career as an electronics technician at the Nevada Test Site where he was a skilled trouble-shooter and a part of the Nuclear testing program.
Steve met Patricia Trupp on June 26, 1969 and they were married on September 11th, 1971. This year, they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.
He spent his retirement years working on his hobbies of weekend yard sales, repairing electronics, and being on call as an ever-present helper for his family and friends.
He was saved in 1973 and most recently attended Meadows Fellowship.
Steve is survived by his wife, Patricia Trupp; sons Dave Trupp and Steven Trupp; daughters-in-law Cheryle and Erin Trupp; brother Lynden Trupp; and his six grandchildren, Emily,Andrew, Sarah, Brandon, Rebekah, and Jonathan.
