Shirley G. Stone

Shirley Gordon Stone, age 84, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 12, 2012. Born June 27, 1927 in Beverly Hills, California, she had been a Nevada resident for 15 years. Shirley had a passion for travel - she had traveled throughout the world. She was a Travel Agent and had owned Travel Exchange Travel Agency in Beverly Hills. She also taught Business Administration at Los Angeles City College. Family always came first with Shirley. She was committed to her family and her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Stone in 2007. She is survived by their three sons, Mark Stone (& Linda) in Carlsbad, California, Brad Stone (& Nola) in Fort Collins, Colorado, and Scott Stone (& Annie) in Westlake Village, California; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial Service will be held at Palm Mortuary Cheyenne Chapel on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at noon, with Rabbi Mel Hecht officiating. Interment at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada.
