Rosario Ronsayro Acuna, 77, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on May 5, 2013. She was born on October 26, 1935 in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines to Exequiel and Imelda Ronsayro; she had two siblings, Rogelio and Marina. Nene, as she was fondly called, spent her childhood in her home town of Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. She was a teacher and a business woman in the food industry. In 1954, she married Romeo Acuna. She lovingly raised nine children - Teresa Zita, Samuel, Arlene, Agnes, Antonio, Arturo, Norberto, Joseph, and Joanne. She loved her fifteen grandchildren - Darwin, Rommel, Jag, Candy, Kate, Anna, Eric, Allen, Shiela, Bianca, Christine, Antonio Jr., Ace, Kristopher, Yuna and her seven great-grandchildren - Corbin, Axel, Andrew, Yesha, Zeth, Carl, and Yuan. Her dream was always to have a big loving family. Rosario immigrated to the United States in 1988 and lived in New York, California, and Nevada. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00pm at Palm Mortuary, Las Vegas, Nevada. Her remains will be cremated and her ashes will be flown back home to the Philippines.
