RONA KAYE TAUFANUA TUITELE, Esq., 32, passed away on February 10, 2013 at her home in North Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on December 20, 1980 in Crailsheim, Germany to Faaea and Maretta Tuitele. Rona graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law. She has received numerous accolades during her career, including the distinction of Rookie of the Year during her tenure as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada in 2006, as well as being the youngest graduate of the Boyd School of Law Class of 2005. Rona is survived by her loving parents, Faaea and Maretta Tuitele; siblings, Andy Tuitele, Maggie Tuitele-Garcia, Michael Tuitele, and John Chan Boon; sister in law, Sheila Tuitele; brother in law, Guillermo Garcia; nephews Andrew Tuitele, Elijah and Gabriel Garcia; as well as a very large and extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. Rona was greatly loved and adored for her sweet, kind, and humorous nature and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 50 Azure Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030, on Friday, February 22, 2013, beginning at 10:00am with a memorial service beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at the Palm Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
