Roger Liwanag White, an EMS worker at the Veterans Hospital passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018 at the age of 51. He was born on Veterans Day, November 11, 1966 in San Diego, California and had been a resident of Nevada since 2006. Roger honorably served his country in the United States Navy for 6 years.
He enjoyed watching UFC fights and boxing with his favorite being Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, not to mention, watching movies especially those of Bruce Lee, whom he idolized. He also was an avid reader and a lover of a variety of music from rap to smooth jazz, a food connoisseur and an all-around entertainer to his family and friends. Roger may have been a man of many things, but the number one thing was his love for his family. Roger’s bright smile and his sense of humor will be missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Erlinda White; and his nephew, Jarrell Advincula. They have welcomed him safely home.
Roger leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Janelle White; 3 sisters, Emilinda Advincula (Rodolfo), Elizabeth Cruz (Bonifacio), and Eleanor Gacad (Florimon); brother, Richard White (Lisa); 2 nieces, Nethania Bridgewater (Clark, II) and Christine White (Hafiz Amat); 9 nephews, Adrian Advincula, Roman Cruz (Sheehan), Jordan Cruz, Byron Gacad, Ray Gacad, Clark Bridgewater III, Kaleb Au, Raynen Advincula, and Christian Cruz; former spouse, Christine Soliven; and extended family and friends.
