ROBERT J. ZAHM, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away at home April 17, 2016. He was born in Greeley, Nebraska, September 10, 1940 to Joe and Emma Zahm. Bob’s parents moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 1943, where Bob attended Pocatello High School. There he met his wife, JoAnn Palfreyman. In 1963 they moved to Las Vegas. Bob worked in the construction industry for 37 years until he retired in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, restoring classic cars, snowmobiling, traveling, and loved spending time with his family at their cabin they built in Utah. Bob was a caring and helpful friend and enjoyed the friendship of many. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Howard, Gerald, and Joe. He is survived by his former wife and best friend JoAnn Zahm, daughter Michele; sons, Michael and Steven; grandchildren Bobby and Kyle Zahm, and Donnie Sutton; great- grandchildren Brooklyn and Braxton Zahm; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 29, 1:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
