Richard Lawrence Bergman

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Deanna Bergman, with whom he shared a life filled with adventure and joy. Together, they traveled the world, exploring new places and making unforgettable memories. He was the proud father of Jack (Brooke) Bergman and Lynn (Mark) Bergman Robbins, both of whom he loved dearly. He also embraced his extended family, including his stepchildren Fredrick (Khai) Bieker, Roman Mesina, Ariel Mesina, Christine Nichols, and Lisa (Jeff) Himes Hull, who were all an important part of his life. Richard is also survived by grandchildren, Becca and Brice Bergman, Emily and Sarah Robbins, and Sailor Hull; and his niece Jennifer (Peter) Croyle and their children.

Richard was preceded in passing by his parents, Marion and Jack Bergman; and his sister Eileen Bergman Hirsh.

Richard will be remembered for his kind spirit, love for travel, and the many friendships he nurtured throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

A memorial service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on October 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. A dinner will follow the service; those wishing to attend are kindly asked to RSVP to Deanna Bergman at 702.773.3113. Family and friends are welcome to gather and honor his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made in Richard's honor to the American Lung Association to support their battle with COPD.
