Born April 10, 1941 in New Rochelle, NY, Dick was a loving husband and respected friend of all who knew him. He is survived by Ginny Attisani, his wife of 39 years; his son, Rich; stepchildren, Steve Fowler and Kristine Fowler Cirby (Steve); his granddaughters, Caroline and Lily; and nephew Tommy Paradise as well as his other nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Marie and his siblings Vincent, Florence, and Bobby.
At age 22, Dick moved west from New York, settling in Las Vegas. In the 1970’s, ‘80’s and 90’s, sponsored by Coors Light, he was a winning race car driver. Driving the Coors Light Silver Bullet he was a NASCAR Winston Racing Series Champion in 1979 and 1981.
Dick opened A-1 Office Machines in 1969 and grew the company to become very successful. He retired earlier this year.
He was funny, wise, and generous. Dick also enjoyed traveling internationally with Ginny.
Dick was an animal lover throughout his life, often bringing home stray animals. He leaves behind his dogs, Speedy and Bullet and Binky, the feral cat he fed nightly.
Forever in our hearts, we will remember the kindness, support, and joy he gave to all of us throughout his entire life. Dick will be truly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and his community.
