Raymond George Thomas

Raymond was born in Denver, Colorado on February 23, 1945 to Felix and Lucy Thomas. After graduating from high school Raymond enlisted into United States Air Force and achieved the rank of EOD Master Sergeant after serving 23 years. Raymond retired from the United States Air Force and then later joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a Patrol Service Representative where he served an additional seven years before retiring and then volunteering his time with the police department.

Raymond was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren. He was a man who took great pride in his home and family and a very devout Catholic. he will be deeply missed by his friends family and loved ones. We all know that he is in his final resting place with his “baby doll“, his wife Prakong Thomas to whom he was married to for 39 years.

Raymond is survived by his Daughter Sopak Thomas of Las Vegas, NV; Grandchildren Roger Barrera, Raeanna Grillo and Michaela Grillo all of Las Vegas, NV; Great grandchild Lennon Garcia of Las Vegas, Nevada; Son Travis Thomas and Wife Melanie of Norman, OK; Grandsons Timothy Thomas of Denver, CO, Andrew Thomas and Wife Stefanie of Norman, OK; Granddaughter Elizabeth Thomas of Norman, OK; Great Grandsons Cory & Isaac Thomas of Norman OK; Daughter Tammy and husband Shawn Bridgeman of Ada, OK; Grandson Tommy (Tray) and Wife Ericka Cooper of Edmond, OK; Granddaughter Liberty Bridgeman; Great grandson: Graycen Cooper; Sister Carol Centa and husband Bob Centa of Pueblo, CO; Nieces Yvonne Centa, Bobbi Rae Centa-Guillen all of Pueblo CO and Stephanie Montoya of Parker, CO.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Palm Eastern Mortuary located at 7600 S Eastern Ave Las Vegas, NV 89123.
