It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my mother, Preciosa Zarco Garcia, who left us on November 16th, at the age of 72 in Las Vegas, NV. Born on February 15, 1952 in Silang, Cavite, PH, Preciosa was a woman known for her joyful disposition, free spirit and resilience.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ramon Garcia de la Torre and Maria Zarco Garcia, as well as her dear siblings, Hispano Zarco Garcia and Guillermina Zarco Garcia. Preciosa is survived by her loving daughter, Mariesol (Sunshine) Garcia Fernandez (Kellen Braceros). She is also survived by her cherished siblings: Aurorita Garcia Hunziker (Hansruedi), Hernani Zarco Garcia (Lin), and Napoleon Zarco Garcia.
Preciosa’s family meant the world to her, and she shared many precious moments with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Her love for her daughter, Sunshine, and their close bond was among her most cherished feats in life.

A memorial for Preciosa’s life will be held in Los Angeles, CA for friends and family to honor her spirit. Details of the service will be shared soon.
