Pearline Walker passed away peacefully in the hospital surrounded by family shortly following her 80th birthday. Pearline was born in Bryan, Texas, the eleventh and last child of T.J. and Aubrey Coleman. She was preceded in death by nine of her ten siblings. She accepted Christ at St. Thomas Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California. She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 54 years Master Sergeant John R. Walker, United States Marine Corp; sister Vermal Hondras (Frank); three children Thomas Stewart, LaQuita Coleman and John R. Walker Jr. (who preceded her in death November 2014); six grandchildren Thomas, Thomas and Tameda Stewart, Mel and Dee Barefield, and Tyler Joe Walker; six great-grandchildren; and countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her.
