Paul Raymond Howarth died December 30, 2023 at the age of 65. Paul was born in Downey California on October 1, 1958. He was the 5th of six children born to Raymond and Shirley (Butters) Howarth. He was a 42-year resident of Las Vegas.
Paul grew up in Whittier California and attended La Colima Elementary School, La Granada Middle School, and Monte Vista High School. After High School, Paul attended Brigham Young University for a year and then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ecuador. He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Business Administration.
Paul married Kimberly Anne Davis in the Washington DC LDS temple and moved to Las Vegas in 1981. He started his career as a financial advisor to local governments in Nevada. This led to starting his own businesses: Howarth and Associates and Assessment Management Group.
Paul enjoyed coaching his children in various sports and actively served in his church as a Bishop and in many other assignments.
Paul was grateful for the gift of music that God gave him. He played trumpet in the high school marching band, and French horn in the high school orchestra. He also played piano and organ for church services and for pleasure at home. And he taught others to play the piano and organ.
Paul is survived by his wonderful wife Kimberly and their five fantastic children: Michael Howarth (Crystal), Kara Wood, Jamie Howarth, Bryce Howarth (Alisun Vehar), Jenna Howarth, and eight grandchildren (Taylor, Lauren, Matthew, James, Elizabeth, Ryleigh, Hannah, Daniel).
