Pat graduated from Western High School in 1977 and soon thereafter met and married Bob Snider in 1981. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and hiking with her husband, children, family and friends. She also enjoyed sports; whether competing in a softball or volleyball game, cheering on her Vikings football team or attending NASCAR and the National Finals Rodeo. Pat adored her two children, Amanda and Bryan, and spent many hours attending their soccer games and school functions. Never one to sit still when her favorite music was playing, she was also known (not by many) to play a mean accordion on occasion. Her basset hound Roxy was her favorite companion. Pat donated her time to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The Fraternity of the Desert Bighorn, and the Outdoor Woman’s Association. Her sense of humor and love for life brightened the lives of those around her. To say she will be missed is an understatement.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Cortez, her father, Edward Cortez and her brother, Manuel J. Cortez. She is survived by her husband, Bob Snider, her son and daughter, Bryan and Amanda, and her Aunt Mary Tapia.
