Patricia Ann Frey

Patricia Ann Frey passed away March 14, 2020, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones, including her beloved cousin, Luana, and her two children, who consider her the best mom in the world.

Patti, an only child, was born in Odessa, Texas in 1951 to Robert Cecil Ryan and Rosalie Ryan. She moved to Oklahoma City her senior year of high school and soon after met the love of her life there, Leo. They were married 45 years until his death in 2019. Spending most of her time in Las Vegas and San Diego, she was known as “hostess-extraordinaire,” for her incredible parties she threw. She was the glue that kept everyone together and definitely knew how to have a good time. She was a true friend to those who had the privilege of knowing her and the best grandma to her three grandchildren. Her spirit and love are missed sorely, but her memory will never be forgotten.

Preceding Patti in death were her parents, and her husband of 45 years, Leo Frey. She is survived by her daughter, Shaina Frey; son, Josh Frey (Jaelyn); and grandchildren, Leo, Rosalie and Kodiak Frey.

Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, NV, 89101. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to various lung cancer charities in her memory.
