Nathan was born on July 21, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois to loving and caring parents Rozell and Carol Richmond. He had two brothers and two sisters Michelle Fowlkes, Sheila Richmond, Stephan Richmond and Terence Richmond.
Nathan graduated from Harlon High in 1979. He then proceeded to attend Olive Harvey Community College from 1980-1982. From 1982-1985, he worked at the University of Illinois. On June 17, 1987, he married Rochelle Flournoy. On November 4, 1987 they became parents to son Nathan Allen Richmond Jr. Nate moved the family into Princeton Park while working for a taxi cab company, where he would then welcome his daughter, Raquel Richmond.
In 2002, Nate then moved to Vegas where he joined the Yesco family till his passing.
Nathan is survived by two children Nathan Richmond Jr. and Raquel Richmond; grandson Andrew Richmond; wife Rochelle Richmond; siblings Michelle Fowlkes, Sheila Richmond, Stephan Richmond, and Terence Richmond; nephews Stephan Richmond Jr. and Rozell Richmond; and nieces Stephaine Richmond and Carol Richmond.
