To the Wilkerson  family.
Words cannot express  all the things I have to say. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Michele for the past year at LLVA, HBPC. She  was a great source of motivation,  encouragement and inspiration in my life. She taught me so much about the responsibilities of a nurse and I could call on her for advise and encouragement on just about everything.  I am still not able to fully process her passing and Im sure  its the same for everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. 
Her light will continue to shine in the lives of every family member,  friend, colleague  and all the patients she served. 
She loved her family and spoke about them every single day.  May her light continue to shine on us all .  She was a one of a kind  precious soul and will remain in my heart forever.  
To you all her dear family stay strong and remember she will always be with you. 

Michele was my preceptor when I started working for the VA in 2014. She was very friendly and accommodating, very patient with me who was a new-comer and clueless with the ins and outs of the VA. Through the years, she had been a great ally and co-worker. I remember when she  enrolled for her Master's degree, she tried to talk me into going through it with her. When she finished her Master's, she would tease me every single time I see her saying, "see, you would have been done with it." 

I pray that her family would be comforted by the thought that she is loved by everybody.  She will be sorely missed.  

Rest in Peace, Michele. It was really  a privilege to have known you.

Ms. Michele will be miss by me, I passed her office every morning going to the Dental Clinic, with a big bright "Good Morning Ms. Michele, have a good day. It seem like I just saw her the other day.. I'am very sadden by her lost.  I going to miss her..She is at peace with my father in haven now.

My condolences to the Wilkerson Family.  Michele and I worked together at the VASNHS when I was part of the audit team for the SVH.  It was an honor and privilege to have worked with her.  

She loved her family and shared countless stories about them.  She was a jewel and will be missed.  May God bless you and keep you is my prayer.

I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. I am honored and blessed to have known Michele. She was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss her. I pray that God will grant you and your family the strength. My sincerest condolences. 

Michele and I worked together at the LV VAMC. I chose that quote because Michele was so encouraging of my promotion, she gave me a beautiful engraved gift that I will cherish forever but our memories I will treasure more. For about a year and a half, we worked almost every day assisting Veterans with their admissions into the NV State Veterans home. During this time, we had several great conversations about our work, life, families and our pets.  She was one of the hardest working and kindest people I know. She touched so many Veterans lives and more. She worked tirelessly, too many hours and on too many weekends. Her laugh was amazing and contagious. I will miss seeing her smile and hearing her laugh.  She doted on her children and their accomplishments. She loved her husband and family very much. My tears are flowing for a friend, a great girl. May God rest her soul in peace!

I was a former coworker of Michele's at the VASNHS. She was one of the smartest, most hardworking and compassionate nurses that I have known. She will be irreplaceable. 

During every conversation that I had with her she mentioned her children and husband. It was evident that she was a loving and supportive wife and mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Michele was always a phenomenal woman. She will be missed.  God called her home. God's blessings for comfort and healing through a lifetime of wonderful memories.

My sincere condolences to the family .  May God grant you you peace and comfort you during this difficult time. I wanted to share a wonderful memory of Michele . We were colleagues at Sunrise Home Health  and became good friends . Michele was like a big sister . She helped me to select my wedding dress and she was my Matron of  Honor and Earnest was our Best Man. Michele and Earnest traveled with us for our wedding aboard the Enchantment of Seas in October 1998. We enjoyed a 7 -day Caribbean cruise .  Michele was a great planner  and take charge person . I will never forget her infectious smile and love for life . I admired her more than she knew . I moved to Texas and loss connection with Michele and Earnest . I am truly sadden by her passing but will hold on the the great memories . Again may God bless the family. I am sharing some pictures from my Wedding Cruise .

I love you! I remember your laugh the most, and that little side eye you'd give, saying,  "Okay!" I will not cry selfish tears today, I've done that enough. I celebrate you today, I laugh for you, I dance for you,  and reach out and build up others for you today. That's is what you did the most, like Jesus, reached out to those who felt that they needed a family, a place,  someone to care. You cared! You gave and you cared!

Thank you Ms Michele Wilkerson for being my friend and sister in christ. I am greateful for our friendship together. I love and admire your beautiful children Jonvieve and Malcom . I always hoped someday we could plan their wedding together . I remember how you helped me with my brother's wedding celebration . We picked all the flowers for center pieces and the bridal and grooms men and Bridesmaid. and I asked you what is your favorite color , You said: " purple is my  favorite and Mr Ernest Wilkerson's favorite color." Well today I picked some purple flowers for you and I hope you will like that. Please know that our family is thinking about you daily and always remember you daily and we will remember you always. I am sending my deepest condolences to the family.  Michele was an awesome person and nurse. She fought for what was right.   I met her at the VA, I loved her spirit and smile. She would always give me courage while I was in my advanced nursing program.  I am thankful to have come in contact with her and  the time we spent working together at the VA.  May God comfort and strengthen the family at this time.

I am so sadden and heartbroken to hear this news.   Michele was one of a kind.  She ensured everything was done to standards and correct .  Things had to be done perfect and she would not accept anything that wasn’t. Michele’s heart was just as big as her smile.   She lead the way and set the example.  God truly has taken  an angel. I give my greatest sympathy and condolences to the family of Michelle Wilkerson. I had the pleasure of working with her as an integral part of the State Veterans Home team with Enrollment at the VA and she was always an advocate for Veterans. She was extremely professional and hard working, we will miss the light she brought to the organization and to our Veterans who reaped the benefits of her dedication to service.

I praise God to have loved and to have been loved by you, Auntie Mikki. WE love and thank God for you. I can hardly believe that you are no longer with us. I praise God that I will see you again some glad morning in glory, when we will worship our Lord and Savior together in Heaven. We love you and miss you! Uncle Ernie, Joneviève, Malcolm, Eboné, Erica, Mommy (aka Rev. Cynthia Hill), Grandpa, Uncle Lou, Auntie Kathy, Uncle John, my siblings, great aunties, great uncles, and all of our cousins...
