Michael, the only child of Eleanor and Michael Testa Sr., was born on January 8, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland. He loved sports and was a star football player for Loyola Blakefield High School. ”Roll, Dons, Roll”! He graduated from Loyola in 1945 at the age of 16….a real over-achiever!!
His favorite pastimes included dancing, singing, watching football, swimming, tennis, water volleyball & softball. He loved traveling with his wife Babs and especially spending time visiting his family.
Michael was “DAD” to Deborah (Deb) Fackett of Henderson, NV, Michael (Mike) Testa III of Orange, CA, and Patrick (Pat) Testa of Robertsdale, AL.
He was “POPPY” to nine grandchildren: Kirsten Arredondo, Carrie Helton, Ryan Fackett, Becky Lynn Testa, Shawn Testa, Joshua Testa, Nicole Testa McCredie, Kimberly Miller and Brandy Babnaw.
AND “GREAT-POPPY” to sixteen great-grandchildren: Dylan, Paige and Jason Arredondo; Shawn, Ella and Aubrey Testa; Parker and Conner McCredie; Reese and Heath Miller; Alexei, Anastasia, Nicklas and Ariana Helton; Caspian Lewis and Aurora Illing
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at
St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway,
Henderson, NV 89052. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund for a memorial in Michael’s name. These donations can be mailed to the parish or donated at the Online Giving Link on the Parish website at www.sfahdnv.org referencing Michael J. Testa Jr.
