Michael L Newman

Michael Lewis Newman, at the age of 62, living in Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Michael was born in Tallulah, LA to Josh & Carrie Newman, who have preceded him in death.

Michael was a loving Father, Uncle, Brother, Grandpa and friend. He had a beautiful heart, being one of the most caring people you ever met. His beautiful smile was able to bring happiness and peace to so many. He was the friend you could count on, and who was always there anytime you needed him.

Michael was with Shadow Ridge High School for over a decade. He had great relationships with all the staff, coaches, and students. Michael was always ready to lend a hand to support all the games and tournaments. And when he was in his office, you could always hear the sound of his beloved jazz playing down the hallways.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, Sons, Jabrone Newman and Randy Thomas; Sisters, Johnna Newman, Diane Newman, and Carrie McDowell; Brother, Ward Newman; Three Grandchildren, Zariah Newman, Harlie Newman, and Kira Thomas; and many loved Nieces and Nephews.

He truly will be missed by all. He received his wings and will continue to be the Guardian over his family.
