Michael Rodney McCammon

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Carolyn J. McCammon, and his beloved dog, Jack. Mike is lovingly survived by his sister Ann Schmitt, brothers John W. McCammon II (Patty) and Timothy McCammon (Mary), and six nieces and nephews: Michel McCammon, Conor McCammon (Kristin), Kevin McCammon (Meredith), Brian McCammon and Clare McCammon-Schulhof (Mark) and a great-nephew Lucas McCammon.

Born on October 29, 1964, in Gainseville, Florida, Mike moved, with his family, to Redwood City, California, at age two. After Mike graduated from Sequoia High School, he studied science & technology at Cañada College.

Mike applied his strong aptitude for technology by working at Best Internet and Microsoft and happily fielding numerous tech help requests from family and friends.

Living in the Bay Area most of his life, Mike was an avid Oakland A's fan and would religiously watch every game. He enjoyed cooking grilled cheese sandwiches, brownies, hamburgers, and baked potatoes, always willing to share with anyone at home. Like many of his relatives, Mike was a perfectionist and would constantly be tinkering on home improvement projects, including building his work studio and hot tub deck.

As an affectionate canine enthusiast, Mike loved taking his dog, Jack, on beach adventures after a long day laboring on tasks around the house.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's name may be made to the Humane Society of the donor's choice.
