Maude E Curry

MAUDE E. CURRY was born on February 15, 1932, in Malvern, Arkansas. She was the second of three children born to Prindle and Mattie Mae Jones (Horton). The family moved to Detroit, Michigan, where Maude completed her schooling. She graduated from Northwestern High School, where she met her husband, James Curry. They were married for fifty three years, before he preceded her in death. After briefly attending Wayne State University, Maude began a thirty six year career with Michigan Bell Telephone Company (ATT), where she worked in a management capacity. After retirement, the Curry's moved to Las Vegas where Maude worked at CSN and the Clark County Recorder's Office. She enjoyed shopping, sports, decorating, listening to jazz, nurturing her roses, and knitting. She was an excellent cook, too. Maude is survived by her children, Deborah and Jimmy. Son in-law, Sidney Franklin, grandson, Sidney, jr., and great-grandson, Elijah. Maude died, December 7, 2020. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the Los Prados Community.

A memorial service for MAUDE will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. A cremation will occur.
