MaryEllen Kaiser

She is survived by her brother Richard Aylward, husband Justin Kaiser, son Andy, daughter-in-law Xiomara, grandsons Orion and Jacek, also 10 nieces & nephews, 12 grandnieces & nephews, and 7 great grandnieces & nephews. MaryEllen was preceded in death by her father Thomas Aylward, mother, Lois Cook Aylward, brother Tom Aylward, and sister Patricia Aylward O’Driscoll.

MaryEllen’s love for all things Disney, especially her joy during her many visits to the park, may have only been eclipsed by her passion for the Vegas Golden Knights. An avid fan, her perfect recall of players and their stats would be the envy of even the most adept sportswriter. Many people describe her as sweet, immeasurably kind, and soft spoken. Evidently, those people never spoke to her about hockey or the Vegas Golden Knights as she defended her team vigorously and with gusto. Some of her favorite moments were spent attending practices and games with her friends and “practice family”.

While hockey was her passion, her joy and her ultimate pride was her family. She relished in the accomplishments of Justin, Andy, Xiomara, Orion and Jacek as well as her in-laws and nieces and nephews. She looked forward to posts and news of what was happening in everyone's life.

MaryEllen was also a voracious reader. One of her favorite pastimes was digging into a great book. She spent hours with her grandsons, Orion and Jacek, at the library, which helped them develop a love for books and learning.

She touched the hearts and souls of all those she met, and she will be sorely missed but she will be happily cheering on the Golden Knights from the best seat in the house.

A visitation for MaryEllen will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A reception will occur Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
