Mary Ellen Iovino, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012. She was born May 1, 1927, in Chicago, and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. Mary Ellen was married to her beloved husband, James, for 54 years. They moved from Studio City, California in 1992, where they retired.
Mary Ellen was blessed with, and is survived by, five wonderful children, son, Gennaro Iovino of North Hollywood, California; daughters, Marie Mardesich of St. George, Utah, Antonina Van Nostrand of Lakeside, California, Elena DeJulio and Candida Stoutenborough, both of Newbury Park, California, and all their spouses; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 1, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
