Mary Ann Kroger passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Mary Ann was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Therese Kroger. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Kroger, sister-in-law, Althea Kroger, and brother-in-law, David Wolfram.
Mary Ann grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Shortly after high school she began a successful career with IBM followed by CSC Global. As she advanced through her career, she resided in Washington, Wisconsin, and Connecticut, making lifelong friendships along the way.
Mary Ann loved to travel. During her lifetime, she frequently vacationed in Mexico, traveled across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Mary Ann enjoyed good food and wine and was an excellent cook. When she retired in 2010, she moved to Henderson, Nevada to be closer to her daughter, Gena and two grandchildren, Chase and Gage. She continued to travel and meet with friends regularly as a member of a wine club, book club and a bridge club.
Mary Ann was adored by her family and had a way of making everyone feel extra special to her. The immeasurable love she showered upon her daughter and grandchildren will forever be etched in their hearts. Those closest to Mary Ann know the strength of her character and the painful sacrifices she made for those she loved. Her selflessness is a true testament of the power of a mother’s love that transcends time and circumstance.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Gena Kendall (Tony Colagiovanni) and two grandchildren Chase Parker and Gage Colagiovanni. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Kroger (Kim), sister Katie Wolfram, and nieces and nephews- Andrew, April, Kelly, Thomas, Emily, Becky and Cameron.
