Leander A. Kirksey Jr., born March 2, 1934 in Florida to Leander A. Kirksey Sr. and Katie Rose Humes died at Sunrise Hospital on January 18, 2014. Mr. Kirksey had a long career as a Lineman with the City of Las Vegas. He is survived by his family including his wife Laura J. Kirksey. Visitation will be held, Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 3-7pm at Palm Mortuary Downtown. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 10:30am - 12:30pm at Palm Mortuary Downtown. Mr. Kirksey will be laid to rest at a private graveside service at a later date in Palm Downtown Cemetery Garden of Dreams. His contagious smile will be missed by all who knew him.
