Kathryn Dianne Donohue

Kathryn Dianne Donohue. Kathy, aged 77, died peacefully on May 25, 2015, at Nathan Adelson Hospice. She was born on April 21, 1938 in Pinedale, Wyoming, the daughter of George and Marguerite Rowland.

In 1957, Kathy married the love of her life Gerard Stephen Donohue and after living in several states, they eventually settled in Las Vegas where they raised three sons. Kathy worked in the hospitality industry on the Las Vegas strip for more than 30 years.

Family and friends were Kathy’s passion and delight. After retiring in 2000, she spent much of her time with her sisters, children and grandchildren. She also was an animal lover. To know Kathy was to love her, and she was always looking to lend a helping hand in any way she could.

Kathy is survived by her sisters (Elsie, Peggy and Helen) and her sons (Steve, Tim and Tom). She also leaves behind five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, in addition to several other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Kathy will be held on May 30, 2015, and she will be laid to rest at the family burial plot in Pinedale, Wyoming. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her time in the hospital and in hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to either the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society or the Salvation Army of Southern Nevada.
