Joyce Hale, 80, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away February 18, 2016. She was born June 15, 1935 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enzil and Annabell Barnett, her beloved husband, James, her sister, Linda Watson and brother-in-law Lee. Joyce is survived by her five children: Vicky (Jim), James (Judy), David, Patrick (Florence) and Linda. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Teresa, Steven, Travis, Diana, Cirena, Brandy, Missy, ten great-grandchildren and her beloved pet, Tammy. Joyce loved her family and enjoyed giving parties. She was infamous for playing trivia games and making sure everyone won a prize. She loved to golf, bowl, play bingo and pinochle. She traveled all over the world and had many exciting stories to share of Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Joyce was a cosmetologist for over thirty years and up until a few years ago her favorite customers were her sons. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and continuous episodes of Law and Order (or at least until 8 p.m. when we couldn’t take it anymore and had to cut her off). We love you Mom; we will miss you and you’ll be in our hearts every day. Tell Dad we love and miss him very much!
Special thanks to the nurses at Nathan Adelson Hospice for your patience and wonderful care. Please do not send flowers to Southern Nevada Veteran’s Cemetery as they are limited on receiving arrangements.
