Joseph Martin Harris

Joseph (Joey) Martin Harris was born on February 14th, 1970 in Oakland, California and lived with his family in Henderson, Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Candice; his daughter, Jasmine; and his stepdaughter, Savanna. Also survived by his mother, Teresa; his brother, Christopher; his niece, Jessica; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Harris Jr. and his grandparents.

Joe was a husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He made an impact on everyone he met. Joe was extremely funny, smart and caring. He was a hard worker who was well liked by all who came in contact with him, especially at UMC Hospital, where he worked for many years. He was a "techy" and video gamer who always had the latest and greatest technology available.

One of Joe's biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had always wanted children and considered himself lucky enough to be a Daddy. His girls, Jasmine and Savanna, thought he was a magician because he could turn the lights and music on and off without being present. Little did they know, it was Daddy, his technology and Alexa! They will miss his hugs and tickles the most.

Joe's health began to decline in February 2021. While struggling to regain his health, he continued working to provide support for his wife and two beautiful girls. Just as things began to improve for Joe, his health took a turn for the worse and he succumbed to his illness on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. We all lost a man we cared deeply about. His passing has created a huge hole in our hearts and lives, especially for his three "girls".
