2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 19, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts to Joaquin (Jack) and Josephine Nobrega.
During her high school years, her family relocated to California where she met the first love of her life, Robert (Bob) Seybert. They married on October 7, 1967 and were blessed with three children: James, Jacquelyn, and Michael. They enjoyed raising their children and being active members in their catholic communities, Holy Name of Mary in San Dimas and St. Paul the Apostle in Chino Hills. In 2002, they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. After 42 years of marriage, Joni unexpectedly lost Bob. God works in mysterious ways and while seeking comfort in a long time friend, she was blessed to discover the second love of her life, Ronald Hale. Joni and Ron were married on April 11, 2015 which added two more sons to her beautiful family: Michael and Ronnie. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with loved ones.Those left to carry on Joni’s memories are her husband, Ron Hale of Las Vegas; her five children, James (Peggy) Seybert, Jacquelyn (Steven) Chambers, Michael (Heather) Seybert, Michael Hale, and Ronnie (Melissa) Hale; her eleven grandchildren, Cynthia, Jonathan, Austin, Jordan, Noah, Sam, Bobbi, Danica, Noah, Peter, and Kai; her sister, Connie; her brother Jack and sister-in-law, Sandy.Joni will be remembered most for her sense of humor, Boston accent, and her ability to make everyone that came into her life instantly feel like family. She will forever be loved by so many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary 7400 W Cheyenne Ave, Las Vegas. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2575 W El Campo Grande Ave, North Las Vegas. Internment will follow at 1:20 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude in memory of Joanne Hale.
