Jeanne, daughter of the late Martha and Richard Danner, was born July 9, 1943 in Dallas, Texas. She attended high school at Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas and went on to college in Virginia.
As a teenager she began modeling, eventually appearing in many national publications including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She was an avid animal lover and took pride in her equestrian accomplishments as a young adult.
In 1968, she married Joe Skinner in Bethesda, Maryland and had her son Charlie Skinner in 1970. After relocating to Las Vegas in the early 1970s, she worked as the Special Events Coordinator at The Sands Hotel and Casino, a position in which she excelled. She then married Freddie Glusman with whom she had her second son, Evan Glusman in 1978. Jeanne and Freddie eventually opened Piero’s Italian Cuisine where she became the Special Events Manager until her retirement in 2016.
Aside from family, her passions included gardening, cooking, classic movies, and looking after her beloved Labrador, Levi. Jeanne always enjoyed watching and cheering on her children in their sports and activities; it continued as a grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Charlie Skinner (Elisabeth) and Evan Glusman (Alida), of Las Vegas, Nevada; her adoring grandchildren, Maggie Skinner, Caroline Skinner, Stella Glusman, Beau Glusman, and Luke Glusman; and her two brothers, Richard Danner of Dallas, Texas; Robert Danner of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family.
Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday March 18th at Palm Mortuary Downtown at 1325 North Main Street in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doors to open at 1pm.
