My name is Faye and I worked with Janet in the early 80’s in Princeton West Virginia.  We were friends.  I was at her side  in her grief, when Paul died .  Another friend told me that  on the local news  a Janet Burton had won teacher of the month and she had also been a nurse.  We got real excited thinking it was our Janet.  As I began to check out Facebook and media we saw this obituary and our hearts broke.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I loved Janet and so did everyone who worked with her!  She loved her family! I got to know Janet as a patient at Davita Five Star dialysis center. I was introduced to her in 2008, and from that first meeting I knew she was one of a kind. She was kind, caring and compassionate. She was always available to help others.
She was there for me when I was going through a tough time. For that I will always remember her.

There are no words to express the heartfelt sympathy for the loss of such a beautiful woman inside and out who had so much good to give to others. Her legacy will always live in the hearts and souls of so many. 
I had the honor of knowing Janet while being the caretaker of my mother, a Davita Five Star patient. Janet was always there for us with her outstanding medical devotion and her kind and friendly mannerism. Our relationship only blossomed from there when after my 
mothers passing Janet reached out to me for an employment  opportunity with her at Davita. She was my inspiration that I could do it. I owe her so much for giving me that and for always believing in me. 
Janet, your boys were the light of your world, we shared together so many stories. They will now live a life of everlasting love and devotion in your honor. . Your love for your family was and always will be never ending. You will never be forgotten my sweet friend and you will always be in my heart.  May you Rest In Peace.

Janet helped me as a new RN, making me feel like someone cared. I will never forget her support, kindness, and great example of steady quality care for patients and teammates. 

Janet's last visit to the valleys unfortunately and she was so looking forward to coming again. What a wonderfull kind and caring person much loved by all she will be sadly missed. We all had great memories of her visits with great banter and laughs. Will also miss our coversation over the phone etc.

I'm saddened to hear about Janet's   passing.  My condolences to all her family. Janet was my boss and most of all my friend. She had the biggest heart and loved life. Dear Burton Family,

My heart aches for the loss of your beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Sister.  I have no doubt that she brightened each of your lives with tremendous love, kindness, support, guidance and laughter, just as she did for me and our DaVita family and her patients.  

I have treasured Janet's friendship for over 8 years now and I am beyond heartbroken to not have her with us.  I can hear her voice in my head and her sweet laughter as I recall countless moments in her office or on a treatment floor.  

She gave me so much more than I gave her, she gave the world so much more than she took.  She will remain forever in my heart.

Janet was such a loving and caring person who thought the world of all her family. She will be greatly missed by so many people. 
She loved pork pies and when ever she came to stay with us in the UK we always made sure we had a fridge full for her.
