James Patrick Morris II

Pat was born and raised in Los Angeles where he attended Loyola High School and Loyola University. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and earned his pilot’s wings and was then married. After his military service he eventually became an air traffic controller with the FAA and moved to the Bay Area in Northern California where his three sons were raised: Michael, Christopher, and Jeffrey.

Upon retiring from the FAA in 1999, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he met his wife, Jill. They enjoyed travelling and seeing the world and were blessed to visit the Holy Land, Italy, Scandanavia, Spain, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, just to mention a few places.

Pat leaves behind his loving wife, Jill. He is also survived by his three sons: Michael P. Morris and his wife Debra and grandchildren Sara and Matt; Christopher J. Morris and granddaughters Quinn and Zoey; and Jeffrey S. Morris.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents James and Matilda Morris, his sister Margaret “Fussy” Kaufman, and aunts Helen Morris and Margaret Romanoff. May they all be at peace with the Lord and watch over all of us still here on earth.

Pat was loved and will be missed by so many.
