Ida M. May

October 13th, 1944 – December 25, 2020

Our beloved Ida Mary May returned to her heavenly home on December 25, 2020, after a battle with cancer. She was 76 years old. She was born to the late Joseph and Mary Di’Maria of Rochester, New York on October 13, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her husband John “Jocko” B. May and her parents, Joseph and Mary Di’Maria, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ida is survived by her four loving children, Lisa M. Vasquez (Inocencio), Donna E. Romo (Frank), Tina M. Taylor, and Stuart J. Rush (Darlene), Sister, Angela Wilkin (Sidney), 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Ida was a wonderful person that was loved, will be missed, and will always be cherished. She had many names, Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Wife, and Friend. She had a passion for baking cookies, loaves of bread, and cakes.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society for several years and she loved attending the East Las Vegas Community-Senior Center. She loved playing cards especially Canasta and Bunco.

Services will be Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 at 10 am at Palm Mortuary- King David Memorial Chapel on 2697 E Eldorado Ln. Las Vegas, Nevada 89120 followed by a placement service.
