Dr. Hilary Zarnow, age 78, of Las Vegas, a retired physician, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024.
Hilary was born in Russia on December 4, 1945 to Bernice (nee Lichtman) and William Zarnow and has been a southern Nevada resident since 2014. He is predeceased in death by his parents, sister, Sandra Zarnow and brother, Allen Zarnow. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Nancy (nee Sofen); daughter, Deborah Zarnow; and two sons, Jeffrey (Jasmine) and Mark (Emily). Dr. Zarnow was a pioneer in the medical field who led the development and advancement of Radiology in the State of Kansas. He served multiple terms as President and Gabbi at Hebrew Congregation of Wichita, KS, who also held many leadership roles in the Jewish community. Services for Hilary will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. The family requests that memorial donations in Hilary’s memory be made to Hadassah or Jewish organization of your choice. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
