Spencer was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 3rd, 1940 and moved to Las Vegas in 1946 at the age of six. Spencer graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1959. He was an avid car enthusiast, a top-class mechanic, tuner and amazing welder. He worked as a Machinist at Republic Services until he retired in 2008. He enjoyed reading, researching and working on his classic cars, going to the drag races with his friends and loving wife of 43 years, Carole, spending time with his friends, talking about and building cars. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Spencer was preceded in death by his parents; Harris Sharp and Margaret Sharp Kirkpatrick, step-mother Gail Sharp and his wife Carole Sharp.
He is survived by his devoted children; Carey Sharp (Elizabeth), Wendy Isenberg (Jason) and Bryan Sharp, his sisters; Margaret Miller, Mary Sharp-Davis and Martha Halla, half sisters; Lynn Koon-Jenkins and Debbie Hatch, his grandchildren; Jasmine, Jackie Sharp-Welch, Jillian and Scott Sharp and Justin Rushing; Nicole Neilson, Zachary Fidance; Nathan, Kali and London Sharp; Aida and Brodie Johnson, his great grandchildren; Maxwell and Madeline De Anda, Waylon and Darla Sharp, Toa Sharp, his nieces, nephews and countless friends. He will live on in our hearts and our memories.
Celebration of Life to be held at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South Jones, Las Vegas, NV on Sept. 30th at 11am.
