Harriet was born in Butte Montana in April to Lotus and Tom Malloy. She lived in Montana for a period and moved to Las Vegas. She originally lived in a Trailer Park in Las Vegas and all of the residents were family members. Those are her daughter’s fondest memories growing up. She started in her career in Las Vegas working for Chevrolet in administration, she enjoyed the job and bought her first new car. She went to work for Cardivan Company, a gaming company and spent over 30 years doing all sorts of administrative tasks. She met the love of her life, Howard Borg, at Cardivan and they worked together for many years. She loved the company and the people she worked with. She stayed very close with Lauren Meyer and has been a faithful and wonderful friend over the years. She was also very close to Irma and spoke to her everyday on the phone and they shared their lives. She was a lifetime Episcopalian and went to church every Sunday and instilled that with her daughter at a very young age, that it wasn’t a requirement, but it was a gift. She was always surrounded by family and friends and spent most vacations going to Montana and Alabama and places in between to meet up with family. Her favorite place to go on vacation with her husband was Jackson Wyoming and they went there many times over the years. They loved the scenery and the people who lived there. She met an artist in Jackson, and they remained friends for many years, and her house was filled with his artwork. She loved Christmas and would decorate every inch of the house and friends and family loved to come over and enjoy the holiday with her. She loved old movies and would remember every Director and actor who played in them. She had amazing recall and was the original google. She always thought you should do for others whenever you can do and instilled that in her only daughter. The family that is now left is her only daughter Heather, her family the Borgs, Sandy (loved like a daughter) and Robert and their children Vanessa and BJ and Erle and his sons Colby and Baelin. Her only daughter Heather has four sons, Lucas, Josh, Matt and Mark and the grandchildren Jocelyn, Aria, Isaac, Ethan, and Theo. She was very close to her brothers Jim and Tommy and their children Rochelle and Mike and Dave and their Children. Jim and his wife also lived next door to us growing up and their children Susie and Jerry were a big part of their life. She will be missed by everyone she touched, because of her kindness and compassion.
