Frederick W Becker III

Frederick William Becker III passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, NV on June 30, 2023. Rick was employed by the Charlie Palmer Group for many years before his retirement and previously the Publisher of Las Vegas Life with Greenspun Media. Prior to relocating to Henderson, NV with his wife, Julie and son, Ryan in 2002 he enjoyed a successful career in New York City working in the magazine industry at various national publications in advertising. Rick was happiest being on and near the ocean, sailing from an early age off the East Coast and later especially fond of fishing in Florida. An aficionado of fine dining, car racing and sports, he was a great conversationalist and people naturally gravitated towards his outgoing personality and warm smile. He was a friend and mentor to many and will be greatly missed by them. His loving family and those he thought of as family will miss him even more. Rick is also survived by two other sons, Eric and Brenden, along with his brother, James Becker, wife Karen, and nephews, Robert and William. There will be a private family memorial to celebrate Rick at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in his remembrance, please consider making a donation to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
