Our father was born in Berwyn Memorial Hospital on August 8th 1933. After, he graduated Morton High School in Cicero, IL in 1951. He was at true patriotic American joining the Navy as a photographer first class from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War. When Dad returned he enrolled at the College of Dupage and earned an Associates degree.
Our Dad met Mom (Elaine L. Melosi ) at a Dance club party September 9th 1961, and dated for 9 months before they wed at St. Attracta Church in Cicero, IL in 1962. They started a family in Westmont, IL
Frank is survived by his only sibling, Marlene Waldoch; spouse Elaine Schneider and 4 children, Art, Mia, Andy and Melanie. From there, our family blessed Frank with 5 grandchildren, TJ, Brittany, James, Maddie and Nathan and the latest addition, a great granddaughter, Scarlet Rose just last year.
Our Dad will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and ability to make you laugh. The family experienced many of these events in his life, let me share just a few:
1. His Love for Dogs, which all 4 children share…
2. Weekly trips to Subway, for a turkey sub with double tomato’s
3. Diet Pepsi, easy ice
4. Collecting coins, pens, casino players cards
5. He loved Krazy Buffett where he loaded up on hard boiled eggs & shrimp…
6. He absolutely loved his Cadillac’s
7. He loved to negotiate, It was all about winning..
8. He loved many sports, baseball & football, where he was an avid gambler
9. His long life was attributed to his excessive Doctor visits and vitamin intake.
Most of all our father was very social, he embraced everyone he met with open and candid conversations always telling jokes trying make you laugh. We feel so grateful to have had as much time with him as we did. We miss him so much already and will forever remember having a great dad.
