Frank McDaniel

Frank McDaniel, 89, a retired Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor passed away May 29, 2012. He was born March 29, 1923 in Columbia, South Carolina, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1994. Frank was employed by Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, California for 40 years. After he retired from Lockheed, he decided to enjoy his retirement with his wife in Las Vegas, Nevada. Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Ethel “Pat” Adams-McDaniel; his loving children, Fredrick (Yolanda) McDaniel of Rialto, CA; Catherine (John) Burns of San Bernardino, CA; Frances Day of Accokeek, MD; Jacqueline Jones of Chicago, IL; Ronnie (LaToya) Jones of Las Vegas, NV; Timothy Jones of Las Vegas, NV; Tracy (Earnest) McCoy of Sherman Oaks, CA; Muneer (Darlene) Waheed of Moreno Valley, CA; Johnny, Cheryl, and Theresa; grandchildren, Kori Montague, Fredrick McDaniel, II, Jacquelyn McDaniel, Raymond, Darrell, Jason, Keisha, Saida, and Takhia Burns, Arkeli Johnson, Joshua McDaniel, Kimberly, Cherise, and Christina Jackson, Larry, Jameel, Kameelah, Safia, Jihad, and Rashad Waheed, Tyris Lewis, Jocelyn Jones, Iris Fergerson, Darius and Zaria McCoy, Jordan, Jayln, and Jada Jones; cousin, Sarah B. Spann; and a host of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Lina “Lottie” McDaniel, his daughter, Charlotte; and his son-in-law, Eddie Day. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5th from 4-7pm; the funeral service on Wednesday, June 6th at 1pm. Both services will be at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
