Frank Omar Kennedy

Frank O. Kennedy, passed peacefully at home on June 8th 2017 Frank was born to Frank and Florence Kennedy in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 27th 1936 . He was the second born of four children. Frank attended Grand Rapids Public schools, earning his High School Diploma from South High. In 1953 he enlisted in the US ARMY, there, he studied to become a Paratrooper and Green Beret 'SPECIAL FORCES'. Following an 'Honorable Discharge in 1957 Frank enrolled in Western Michigan University, earning a degree in Business. Frank eventually became the proud owner of his own Bar and Restaurant in the Mesick Michigan area. After several years of running his own businesses, Frank decided it was time for retirement and enjoy LIFE. With Las Vegas on his mind, he packed up and headed to 'Sin City' with family in tow. Frank had a passion for Fishing and Hunting and loved to exaggerate on how 'BIG' of a fish he caught. He was a resident of Las Vegas NV. for the past 20 years, finding a new hobby playing bingo. Along with is Sister Ginger, Frank loved to yell B-I-N-G-O !! Frank is preceded in death by his parents Brother John Kennedy, Sister Nina Pitman. He leaves to cherish his memories, Son Danny (Carol) Kennedy, Daughter Susan Kennedy, 3 Grandchildren, Jenna, Dominique and Daniel. One Great Grand daughter Leia. One Sister Ginger Kennedy One Sister In-law Margaret Kennedy One Brother In-law John R. Pitman One Adopted Sister Samantha (Ron) Welsh and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins and extended family. We all loved Frank but God loved him best.
