Francine B. Brunson was born on September 27, 1927, to George W. Beavers and Ida Chambers Beavers of the small hamlet of St. Paul in Bradley County, Arkansas with their second of eleven children, Francine. Francine was educated through the Bradley County School System of Warren and also at Arkansas AM&N College, known now as the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Upon graduation, Francine moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she worked as a stenographer for the Spiegel Mail Order Firm for 10+ years.
Francine returned home to unite in Holy Matrimony with her childhood sweetheart, Thomas Clinton Brunson of Warren on June 30, 1957; he preceded her in death on November 1, 1989. Tom and Fran raised many nephews, nieces and neighborhood children.
On Resurrection Sunday, March 31, 2013, after a valiant fight with several health concerns, Almighty GOD called Francine to rest. Those who preceded her in death are her parents, her husband Thomas; her siblings: Plyma Beavers Green, Otis Beavers and the Rev. Vernell Beavers, all of St. Paul, Arkansas; her sister, Jacquelyn Beavers Ford, and her nephews: Ralph ‘Skip’ Ford, Jr., and Andrei ‘Bo’ Jamison.
