Frances Orr

Frances was born on December 4, 1928 in Opheusden, Gem. Kesteren, the Netherlands. She is survived by her husband, John Orr; sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) Fuhreng, John P. (Kyong) Orr; daughters, Fran (Jim) Sisk, Brenda-Lee (Terry) Fuhreng; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Frances was a very gracious, well-traveled lady. She made her way to Las Vegas in 1966. Her journey started in the Netherlands and included a stop in Australia where two of her kids were born, then to the United States where her youngest was born. She was a savvy professional businesswoman who opened and managed several resort gift shops.

After retiring from the Desert Inn, Frances enjoyed traveling throughout the United States visiting family and friends. She loved catching up on all the news over a hot cup of coffee. If she wasn't sipping coffee, she was knitting, crocheting, or baking one of her famous pound cakes. She was always excited to see you and would give you the biggest smile. She will be missed by all.
