He graduated high school from Litchville High School in 1966.
Dennis married Lynne Burow February 20th, 1967.
His career was spent with the military and government.
He is survived by his two sons, John Haugen Valley City, ND and Cory (Heather) Haugen Jamestown, ND, two sisters and one brother.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Anna Haugen and one son Michael Haugen.
