Daniel Joseph Valdez was born in 1962 in Montebello, CA. He was raised in California and retired in Nevada. The Valdez Family is enormous beyond Danny as he is the second born of six children by his parents David & Leonor Valdez. Dad has many nicknames but Danny is the go to. Danny was a groundskeeping landscaper for over 40 years. Passion is an understatement when it comes to work. He always said that he would die doing what he loved to do and that was the truth he prepared us all for, we just didn’t want to believe his prediction. Danny was always, on the go, taking each life experience and made it unforgettable. The work ethics he instilled into his children are a small insight of how important his influence is. Danny experienced his first love when his eldest son, Joseph Daniel, was born in 1984. In 1989, he met the complete love of his life, Lisa. Lisa instantly became his “Ride or Die” soulmate. When Lisa met Danny’s son Joseph, she knew she had a special little guy in her life because she fell in love with him too. Danny and Lisa went and did everything together, that was them, inseparable. Danny and Lisa later married in 1991. Their daughter, Nicole Danielle who is a mini version of Danny, entered the world in 1993. The birth of his daughter, Nicole, was an unimaginable moment he didn’t forget. Danny and Lisa moved into their home in Granada Hills, CA. With the birth of their youngest son, Steven Joseph, in 1997, Dad felt that his little family was complete and his entire world revolved around them. Dad has bonus children too who he loves beyond words, his Daughter-in-Law Angela, Son-in-Law Robert and Michelle. Danny has three Grandsons, Michael, Jakob and Dominik that he loved to no end. Danny’s passing has impacted the entire family, extended family and so many friends. His magnificent legacy will remain with us all, to be carried on through all generations, now and in the future. Cheers to the Spirit in the Sky!
